Jasmine Taylor is a Communications Coordinator at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ). In this position, she creates social media content and increases online audience engagement for all communication channels related to USJ, including Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and Snapchat. In addition, Jasmine focuses on conceptualizing, writing, and editing content about USJ that supports the areas of recruitment, public relations, advancement, and advertising.
In December 2016, she earned her Master of Art in Public Relations and Corporate Communications from Sacred Heart University, and participated in the university’s chapter of Public Relations Student Society of America. Prior to that, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication with a concentration in Advertising and Promotions from Southern Connecticut State University in December 2015. Throughout her studies, Jasmine has taken classes in Copywriting, Communication Research, Media Ethics, and Public Relations in the Digital Age.
Her internship experiences at Cashman and Katz Integrated Communications, Yale University Properties, Specialty Events LLC, and the Goodspeed Opera House, have helped her develop writing, presentation, analytic, and creative skills in a variety of professional contexts. In her spare time, she focuses her energy on her photography business, Jazz Taylor Creations, and volunteers in her community. Jasmine’s aspirations for the future include work in the television and entertainment industries.
